Ruby & Dooby – the fashion models

Dooby and Ruby all began with a Friday morning walk through the Melbourne Botanical Gardens. We were spotted by a photographer who was setting up for a fashion shoot. Of course he admired the dogs and asked could he use them for the catalogue he was working on. Wearing their “Oscar’s Law” scarfs they were real professionals, posing with the model under a magnificent Morton Bay fig tree. The model was obviously a dog lover and handled the dogs well, helping them to relax. A few weeks later there was another fashion shoot on at the Exhibition Buildings for a new catalogue and they wanted my dogs but unfortunately I had other commitments and I couldn’t take them in. Maybe next time!!! Incidentally Ruby and Dooby are mother and son. Sue Chambers
